Chek Wee serves as Secretary-General of the Hainan Business Chamber for 2025–2028. He also contributed to Singapore Business Federation SME Committee work on manpower, productivity and competitiveness. In May 2026, he joined an HBC delegation that met Danzhou and Yangpu officials to discuss trade, industry, talent and investment links with Singapore.
